Women's Herstory Workshop
Women’s HERstory refers to the suppressed, hidden, erased, or transfigured history of women, spiritual or religious women, female divinity, and Goddesses throughout history. As a PhD researcher of Women’s Spirituality, uncovering and reclaiming women’s HERstory is incredibly important and exciting for me. Women’s Herstory workshops combine academic research and what I call “applied mythology”. Applied mythology is learning how we can take the stories, archetypal energies, legacies and skills these women and Goddesses posses and apply them to our everyday contemporary lives.
The flow of a workshop may look like this:
An opening activity to welcome us to the space
A presentation on the chosen or selected figure
A discussion/opportunity for questions and comments around the topic
A ritual or activity that embodies the figure we learned about
These workshops are great additions to women’s empowerment events, women’s history events, women’s spiritual gatherings, and more. If you’re looking to add something unique and special to your event, workspace, or retreat I’m so happy to deliver!
Pricing information:
Virtual and in-person workshops within the Northern NJ area are $150
In-person workshops within a two-hour travel time are $200
Additional options are available for travel and accommodations. Please reach out for more info!
